I definitely would recommend counseling services to all students and staff members. Mental Health wellness is very important and often overlooked especially in the African American community and by college students in general. Its important that we strengthen not only our bodies, but our minds as well.
I love the health and counseling center. It’s has helped me in more the ways I can’t explain. I take well advantage of the counseling there. I been attending since freshman year and it keeps getting better and better. I don’t know where I would be without my counselor, she’s helped me become a better me ❤️.
They are great people to talk to and they will always help with what ever you are going through
I had a pleasant experience in graduate school at Alabama A&M University. The Health and Counseling Services was great, they held mental health workshops, blood drives, sexual assault awareness events and more. The facility is essential to the university experience. My HBCU Rocks!
Be more on top of what y’all should be telling the students that come to you and ask for information! No one wants to be told at the last minute about information that the Health Center needs when you knew before hand everything that was needed! You should get tired of hearing people complain all the time ! Just to be clear, when I say THEY and YALL I And referring to Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University’s Health and Counseling Center !!
